[ House parties were a frequent stop of Shayla's on the weekend. Every partier needed drugs and Shayla had a clientele list nearly a mile long. Many of which were young college students who were willing to pay whatever hiked up prices she tried to slide by them.
(Usually, Shayla wasn't the type to try and pull one over on someone, but a few of those douchey college kids really deserved it.)
She knows of Darlene very vaguely. She's seen the girl at Elliot's house, has been introduced to her very briefly, but beyond that... there's very little that either of them knows about one another. But, that doesn't seem to stop Shayla from seeking the girl out in the crowd of others and lightly knocking their shoulders against one another. ]
Well well well, look what the cat dragged in, huh?
[ She grins wide, brows lifting curiously at Darlene. ]
[ There wasn't any rhyme or reason as to the times that Shayla would stop by Elliot's apartment -- it wasn't exactly a difficult thing to do considering the other lived in the apartment directly next door to her own and she was often on Flipper duty on the days when Elliot would have to work.
(Or do whatever mysterious thing that he did in the hours he wasn't home.)
Tonight, it's late into the night when Shayla crosses the small hallway to stand in front of Elliot's door. She's got a sudden surge of nighttime energy and a pocketfull of various drugs -- powders, pills, weed, anything that someone wanted Shayla could find. Even Elliot's rare Suboxone was something she could get her hands on.
(Although that too came with a price.) ]
Elliot. [ She knocks on the door, her voice sing-songy as she speaks. ] Elliot. Open up!
